I made a small pillow for my sis! I used the rest of this sleep mask fabric to make a long skinny case (go with what you have). The form was free: I used some white fabric I had on hand, and stuffed the whole thing with cut-up scraps. You know what’s the best thing about that? Pottery Barn charges 40 bucks for pillow forms! And that’s just generic shapes, not custom. Mine was free, made of recycled materials, and eliminated a large portion of my burgeoning scrap stash.

The fabric is perfect for my sis, who likes nautical decor, and who rocks a red/white/blue look. It could work as a travel pillow, or a cushion for her couch. The fabric cost me $5, and I got two sleep masks and a pillow out of it. Pretty good, right? Sewing can be cheap sometimes, especially when it comes to over-priced pillows. Pillows are the gateway drug of sewing.
